When I saw one of these.. I knew I had to have it. I went to the seedy side of Chicago to shop after shop in December of 1985 and picked one up. This thing was awesome. I put it in the back of my car as the sound system. I also wired in a pair of 4" speakers to fire out the back. When the handle broke under it's weight, I made a strap for it so I could wear it over my shoulder. After a big football game at high school we celebrated by playing we are the champions in the street and a cop threatened to shoot it. I also used it as a guitar amplifier by plugging it into the microphone input and cranking it up. It kept up with the drums and sounded something awful. It was finally stolen out of my car during a snow storm that I got stuck in. It was in pretty bad shape by then though. The slotted cassette deck was tuned very badly and just got further out as time went on. I had no Idea how to fix that.
