Vector Research VMC-100
The VMC100 is a 3-piece boombox from Vector Research. Actually it's a 4-piece, because the center section splits into 2 components. It presents a thuggish all-black appearance. It has Dolby B, a 7-band graphic equalizer, and a Loudness button. We believe it's a re-branded JVC PC-11, or at least a very good imitation of it. One or two Boomboxery members have claimed that the Vector sounds better than the JVC. I personally wouldn't know, because I've never owned either of them. All I know is that both of them have 5-inch full-range speakers with front bass ports. There are no tweeters. The JVC has silver ceramic-coated dust caps, while the Vector has whizzer cones instead.
Its dimensions are 562mm wide, 224mm tall (not including the handle), and 217mm deep. It takes eight D-cell batteries.
