This is the radio that started the epic rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The Sears SR2100 Series, model number 564.21370350. The one that Johnny threw on the ground at Leo Carillo State Beach in Malibu. It was literally one of the cheapest, most basic radios the producers could find. Its price was only about $59. It doesn't even have a Balance knob or a Pause button.
Note: There was an "upgraded" version called the 564.21372350, which added an FM stereo indicator light and a dual L/R volume knob. But that model wasn't used in the movie.
