Maximal 3040

The 3040 is a 3-piece, 4-band ghetto-blaster from Maximal. It's quite large, at 29.5" long and 12.25" high without the handle. Its speaker boxes are made of pressed-wood, which usually sounds better than plastic. It was made in Taiwan and takes 8 D-cell batteries or 220V AC. It has both Phono and DIN inputs. It is a re-branded version of the Sears 20602, but the Sears has a blue tuner dial and a digital clock.
