AudioSonic RD-1549

This Audiosonic ghettoblaster is being sold right now, in the year 2015. It is yet another imitator of the old JVC Kaboom. It is sold by company called Tristar which is located in the Netherlands. It is most likely made in China. It does not have a tape deck or CD player, but it does have numerous media options, including an FM radio, two Aux input ports, Bluetooth, a USB port, an SD card slot, a microphone jack, and a smartphone cradle on top. It also has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery for up to 6 hours of use.

It is described as 2 x 25 watts (but it's unclear whether that's peak, RMS, or simply what the speakers are "rated" for). It is also described as having "twin subwoofers", but it's unclear whether that's referring to the speakers on the front, or the ones on the sides. Perhaps the ones on the sides are fake. Who knows?

NOTE: There is a lower-price version called the RD-1548 that doesn't have the bass and treble knobs, and it is rated for 2 x 10 watts instead of 2 x 25.
